Scott Satterwhite is a writer and educator living in Pensacola, Florida. He co-founded the 309 Punk Project in 2016 in an effort to save the oldest punkhouse in the South. The project has since grown to include an artist-in-residence space, fledgling recording studio, publishing arm, and historic archives of regional counterculture. Satterwhite has written over 100 articles in various publications, including Florida Historical Quarterly, Cometbus, Maximum Rocknroll, and Inweekly. He is the longtime editor of the zine Mylxine, and is the co-author of A Punkhouse in the Deep South: The Oral History of 309, published by the University Press of Florida.
